About Us
Dedicated to provide overall guidance and support to the R&D support staff for conceptualising and undertaking projects in a varied areas of functioning viz. Internet Communication Technologies, Infrastructure Development, Knowledge Management and others. The standing body provides necessary financial resources as well as extended technical inputs for achieving the functionality that may gain the technical excellence in long run!
What we do?
We (the committee) review, approve and monitor the R&D support proposals of CSIR-NML. The projects are of multidisciplinary areas like Engineering, Knowlegde Management, Softwares & Databases Development and R&D Infrastructure Building.
How we do?
We notify twice in a year January and August for submitting proposals for review. Each submitted proposals are blind reviewed by a couple of comittee members. A technical presentation on the Objectives, Deliverables, Relevance and Funding required is also being made by the respective Project Leaders. The committee then decides about approving the proposal as a projects. Once accepted, The progress of the projects w.r.t. the deliverables is also asked to be presented by the Project Leader.
