Introduction: |
Arpita Ghosh received her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela in 1999, master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (with Control Systems specialization) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2002 and her doctoral degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur in 2007. She received the BOYSCAST fellowship from Department of Science & Technology, India and was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO, USA. Currently, she is a Scientist in the Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) Centre in the National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur, India. Her research interests include modeling of fuzzy control systems, neural network control, electromagnetic NDE techniques and sensor-based sorting of raw materials. She co-authored a number of research papers in journals, book chapter, and international conference proceedings. |
