Introduction: A Ph.D holder with 14 years of experience in the area of mechanical metallurgy. My teaching, research and routine assignments/resposibilities include:

Teaching:

Supervising Ph.D, M.Tech thesis; Designing courses, taking lectures / labs
/ tutorials at post graduate level for the following courses:

Creep, Fatigue and Fracture mechanics (3-0-2-4)

Research:

I specialize in fatigue/creep behaviour of metallic materials and alloys. In the purview of the above, I have experience in formulating / planning
/ execution of projects related to microstructure (SEM/TEM)-fatigue (HCF/LCF) correlation in load bearing alloys; Experimental characterization of fatigue crack nucleation & growth events; Characterization of fatigue-hot corrosion interaction etc.

Routine:

Failure analysis of industrial components; Helping industries in developing standards/specification for minimizing failure; Remaining Life Assessment (RLA) of power plant components, aero turbines.
