Professional Profile
Introduction: Surface and interfacial chemistry examine the chemical process that occur at the phase boundary between liquid/ solid and gas/ solid interfaces. The molecular level controlling of the surface reactions would guide the development of highly active and selective nanomaterials, catalysts, corrosion and coatings for diverse application. To understand the required properties we have been using the tools like FTIR, UV-vis diffused reflectance spectroscopy and BET surface analyzer and XPS.

*Understanding of metal/ nonmetal doping on different semiconductor materials to modulate the band gap using XPS.
