• Developed innovative processes for beneficiation and exploitation of low grade ores and minerals.
• Coordinating the efforts of professional society Indian Institute of Mineral Engineers and promoting the growth of mineral engineering as Honarary Secretary of the Institute.
• Visited South Korea, Japan, Italy, USA, Nepal, Australia, China and Turkey in connection with collaborative projects, for training and attending conferences.

• Visited Japan under International Fellowship of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), 1999
